Polish #8- A polish that was Gifted to you.

This is in my book a nail Fail... I love the color, but the polish needed 4 coats to be fully opaque, that is just too many coats for me. Also the color just did not seem to agree with my skin tone. It is very pretty just not my cup of tea. But to be true to the Challenge this what I had tried and i stuck to it. Even after I figured out it needed so many coats and it didn't look right with my coloring. I ended up taking a ton of pictures so I'll just show you those and let you be the judge.

Used: Base coat
4 Coats Sally Hansen First Kiss
2 coats Sally Hansen Rock Candy
topped with Seche Vite.

My boyfriend bought this for me when we were at Target one day. Like I said I really love the color just did not seem to go well with my skin tone.

Please excuse the mess on some nails, these are all without cleanup .

To first Kiss's credit it did dry super shiny all by itself which is good.
I also really liked Rock Candy I hadn't tried it before and really want to try over different colors.

I only wore this for a day or two, Look what happened on the second day...
I had on 8 layers of polish all together that was just too much.

Polish # 7- A polish you wear often

Just a quick post for now at the moment I'm still wearing my Birthday Nails, But I do have something to show you. So this color was hard to choose for me. Lately I don't wear the same polish for months at a time, but I have worn this color multiple times since I bought it. So on to the nails...

 Used:
2 Coats Orly- Naughty on all nails
Accent: Color Club- Sugar Plum Fairy (I believe) Naughty sort of took over the color, and I put them away before I realized that.
All topped with Seche Vite

Blurred to see the colors it flashes...

Birthday Nails...

My birthday is actually today Yay...I love birthdays I always will they are fun and I wait for this day to come around all year long.
Unfortunately I  do have to work today a long shift at the end of the day ugh! Oh well... So We celebrated yesterday, had a fun day all i was told was to be ready at 8:30 (ah hem i was trying... but wasn't actually ready till 9 heheh) My boyfriend wouldn't tell me anything and even forbid me to ask questions grrr...

All was good until we almost Died! Ok well we didn't almost die... We were coming down from the top of the Sadia mountain and hit a patch of ice the wrong way. Skid and ended up in some branches. We are both fine, Just scared the crap outta me The poor car is fine just some bumper damage, oh and of course we had to sit there for like two and a half hours waiting... First for the park ranger then the sheriff then for the tow truck to get there. It was cold we had no cell signal and just kinda sat there for what seemed like forever. We finally got on our way and by then it was almost time for dinner.

Which was at one of my favorite places. It's an Italian place called Zio's Italian Kitchen. It's really good, if your near one should deff try it out. ok ok on to the nail because I'm running out of time, this was supposed to be a quick post haha mine never are.

This polish is just so pretty I have had it for years and have only worn it twice maybe 3 times. For fear the bottle will be empty one day I suppose.

Also these pictures do not do it justice. As with all Holo's they are a ton prettier IRL But you ge the idea with my pics. And just look at the bottle!

Used:
Base coat
Base color: Sinful colors- slate w/ 1 coat Sally Hansen Prisms in Diamond
accent nail: Base color Ulta- Devious with 2 coats Sally Hansen Prisms in Pink Rose Diamond (it was supposed to show more purple but the holo took over the color.)
stamping in either Ulta- Devious or Wet N wild- French White creme.
I have loved these polishes since I first saw them with my Older Sister. I went to her house when I was about 6 or 7 yrs old, She had Pink rose Diamond and I used it for a mani, and just could not stop looking at my nails.
After thatI knew I needed some, I never did get any until about 4 years ago, I found these is bags with 9 or 10 polishes in each for $4.99 at a discound grocery store. And I bought as many as I could.
Enjoy the Prettiness I know I am... Still can't stop looking at these soo pretty.

Polish #6- A polish you have never worn

Sorry to keep disappearing I've just been so busy lately. I have been changing my polish and keeping up with this challenge and taking my pics, just no time to actually sit down to crop, watermark, and write my posts. But I promise there is more to come, don;t give up on me yet...

So like many other polish aholics I have a ton of untrieds. I wasn't sure what to wear at first but but after some thinking I decided to use 3 polishes I actually hadn't used and a stamping image that I hadn't as well.
Used:
base color of Wet N wild- Ink Well
With Wet N Wild- Behind Closed doors and Revlon- Facets of Fushia layer together,
Stamped with Pure Ice- Silver Mercedes
Bundle Monster plate, Sorry not sure of the # at the moment.
Filled in the middle of the flowers with Ink Well

Now layering these two colors together was not my idea, I seen this done on  another blog, I just can't remember who it was. If your the one who did this or know who, leave a comment or email I would love to credit back.
I was really pleased with how these came out, but I didn't get to wear it very long =/  the second day I ah hem used my nail to try to open something, I failed BTW and chipped the hell out of one of my nails. So later that night off these went, But they were super pretty while they lasted.

Polish #5- A polish that reminds you of a special day

I seriously had no idea what to wear for this day, So after thinking about it for awhile I decided to re-create a mani I wore Last Nov. When we went to Phoenix for the Nascar Race. It was so much fun. This really wasn't "a special" day but oh well, And this was my birthday present from my Mom and her Bf, last year. Being in the car for 8 or 9 hours as not the best with me and my boyfriend in the back and my mom and her Bf, and them blaring Josh Turner ugh there is only so much I can take of Josh Turner. But when we got there we had a blast. ok on to the nails,

I actually did not have an accent nail the first time but I wanted something a little different.
Used:
2 coats Sally Hansen- Blue me away
1 coat Pure Ice- Strapless
Accent- Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink
1 thick coat of Seche Vite to top it off.

And here is me being goofy right before going heading to the race. But if you look at my left hand you can see the blue nails. Best picture I had lol all the others you cant see my nails at all.

 And just some more pics

Haha don't you just love the water bottle? It was all I had to hold at the moment, But look at that shine...
Please ignore the awful tip wear, Which is not actually tip wear but Seche being a butthead. I shruck the hell out of these glitters. On another note I  have been trying to wrap my tips the last couple manis (yes I am super behind in posting soo sorry, Seeing as this mani is #4 and I'm currently wearing # 8 I think ugh I will catch up eventually)
Any about the wrapping of the tips yes I've been trying it and omg I love it so much better work like a charm, the first time I did I just could not stop staring at my non shrinked (word?) nails, it was just soo pretty.

Ok gonna stop rambling now enjoy until next time which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
