Milani Checkered

Omg is this really my first post this December? I have been so busy, working in retail at this time of year I'm lucky to get sleep. So I usually have no time to set aside for my nails or posting. My last few manis I've worn for at least 5 days, which I never do, but I just don't have the time lately. *sniff sniff* I just can't wait for January and having more time yay! So bare with me please. Today I have a mani I did one a few hours before having to work. I think it took me like 30 min or so. I was seriously trying to hurry since I had to shower after finishing. Gotta love Seche Vite for that, if you let each coat dry then put Seche Vite over it all and let that sit for 10 min or so you should be ok to shower if your careful.

Anyway onto the mani...

Used:
Base Coat
Milani- HD 3 coats
stamped in
Ulta- Celebutante
Nina ultra Pro- Blue LaLa
China Glaze- Want my Bawdy
1 coat of Seche Vite before stamping, and 1 coat after.

My pictures do not do this polish justice it's a cross between a scattered and a linear holo. Just in some lights though. Most of the time it just looks like a silver sparkle. Either way it is so pretty.

Non- Zebra

I had wanted to do animal print nails, and had actually want them to be like the actual animal well the idea was good, but didn't last long, I soon wanted something bright and different haha.

Used:
Base Coat
Sally Hansen- Fairy Teal 1 coat
China Glaze- Watermelon Rind 1 coat
Milani- Blue Lightening Sponged on
Finger Paints-  Motley 1 coat
Stamped Using- BM-223
In Pure Ice- Silver Mercedes

I see now that I should done more a peacock theme stamp since my colors were already there. But of course I didn't really see that until after I had stamped eh oh well still looks nice this way.

I was super excited to see that Fairy Teal is the perfect base color for Watermelon Rind, I love the color but hate that it's sheer and needs multiple coats for full opacity, I'm really terrible hate doing more than 2 coats 3 is usually my limit. Sheer polishes are just awful I usually don't have patience for them. So am always looking for good layering colors.

Also not nail related in any way, went to Zoo Music  on Friday, which is super fun anyway walking around the zoo in the evening is really fun. They always have peacocks walking around and that night the male seemed to be chowing off. All open and just beautiful, I had to take some pictures...

Definitely click to zoom to see all detail.

ASBMF- Butterflies

I had a completely different idea for this mani, I first painted all my nail using Kleancolor Fushia Neon, with accent nails in Rimmel London Black Satin (I think this is my new favorite black, and love the brush), But a big problem there is that the Kleancolor would not dry I even added seche vite to speed it up, but still was not working then I bumped two of my nails and messed them up. So I called a quits with it, on a better note it does stamp well so I'll probably just use it for stamping.

The only thing I did keep was what I wanted to stamp, which was the butterfly image on BM- 205, I love that image, It was the one I was most excited for when I ordered the second Bundle Monster set.

Ok enough talk on to the pretties...
