Urban Outfitters Holo

So unless you've been hiding under a rock the past couple of weeks or so, you've probably already seen the Urban Outfitters holo polishes popping up all over the place. There are three colors a pink, green, and silver all very strong holo and super easy to apply. They covered well in 2 thin coats with no cuticle drag.

Last I seen these were sold out of their website, but stores probably still have a bunch in store, I know mine did when I went.
Here they are in all their glory, all lined up nice and pretty. From what I've seen these are just slightly more holo than the Color Club ones, I don't have the Color Club holo collection since there isn't anywhere for me to buy them locally, So I am happy to have found these. Ok enough of my talk onto the nails...

Used:
Base Coat
Urban Outfitters UO- Green Holo 2 coats
Stamped in Wet N wild- Black Creme
Accent Nail
Ulta- Hide & Go Sequins 3 coats
Stamped in UO- Silver Holo
All Topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite, well just because I wanted to there was no need for 2 coats I just did.

The picture directly below, was supposed to be in direct sunlight but the wind and an umbrella got in the way, but I had to show it even in the shade you can really see the holo.
There are some pictures slightly blurry I did that on purpose, I liked the way the holo looked not in focus.

Thats all for now enjoy...

Jelly Sammich

For todays mani, I went with a dark blue jelly sandwich. I'm not sure how I feel about the results. However I did receive quite a few compliments on it so i decided why not.

Used:
Base Coat
Opi- Roadhouse Blues 2 coats
Opi- Rainbow Connection gradient from the cuticle
Revlon- Royal 1 coat
all Topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite

So as I said before I'm not so sure about the outcome. The glitter was a PITA to cleanup and I did it at night thinking it looked good until in the morning when I saw. Not too bad but oh well. And the seche vite shrunk at the cuticle leaving some of the glitter exposed.

I'm just going with it was not a complete fail, lol. so that's it for now.

Day 11- Polka Dots

I wasn't quite ready to take off my franken yet, so I just added my polka dots, for this I didn't really plan anything just grabbed some neon colors and started dotting.

Please forgive the huge black smudge on my thumb, Lol I had no idea it was there till after taking my photos. I was recreating my Black & White Nails on my mother's nails, and well I must of got the black polish on me, oh well not much to do about it now.

Used:
Base coat of Elmer's Glue
3 thick coats of my polish
Used a Dotting tool and
Color Club-
Wham! Pow!
Warhol
Chelsea Girl
and Nina Ultra Pro-
Lime Light

This was quick and easy I used a small dotting tool, and just kind of stippled them on, starting from the cuticle up.

Used:
Base coat
Sinful Colors- Exotic Green 3 coats (Jelly? I"m not sure)
Sinful Colors- Call You Later 1 thick coat
All topped with Seche Vite
