CopyCat Candy mani

When I saw this mani done by Luv My Lacquer I knew I had to replicate it. Since I had just picked up those exact polishes and had that same plate she used, well why not then. So I went at it, starting with a white base and sponging on my colors, by painting them stripes on the sponge and just dabbing them on, I had to go over them a few times but it was worth it.

Used:
Base color-
Jordana- white
From cuticle to tip,
Sinful Colors-
Cotton Candy
Sweet Tooth
Sugar Rush
Stamping in Jordan white
all topped with Seche Vite

Please just ignore the dry cuticles, it is a never ending battle here. One day its all nice out trying to be spring, then the next it windy and overcast but always dry. That just the desert for ya I suppose.

Summer Plum

Today I have a NOTD from a few days ago. Before I shortened my nails, they were just getting in the way and I was afraid I would break a nail, they grow really fast so I'll have nails this long soon enough.

Not much else to day about this manicure, I did it quick at night basically one of those nights where I had to get something on my nails for the next day.

Used:
Base Coat
Sally Hansen- Summer Plum 2 coats
Accent nail-
Sinful colors- Soul Mate
topped with
Sinful Colors- You just Wait
All topped with Seche Vite

Sorry about the dry hands, the cold is really getting to my skin. It is just so drying ugh. But I do love the fall and winter, so I'll just keep slathering on the lotion and cuticle balms and oils.

Day 2- Watermarble

I have been so busy this past week and a half, I did have this mani done but the like the 4th but never had time to sit down and post about anything. I am actually on time with my manis, need to do zombie nails, but before that all done. Just no time for posting so I'm going to make this quick because it's late and I have to work in the morning. Yes I'm scheduling for the morning. If I post at night I don't like it to actually post till the morning. Anyway enough talk.

This is my attempt at a watermarble. I had never tried this before, I actually sat down one morning before work giving myself a couple hours to either fail or succeed, or well half way succeed as I figured would happen. And well I can say I was somewhat successful. My attempts at making any sort of design was well a failure. But I got a couple pretty looking nails. Ok onto the pictures.

Day 11- Polka Dots

I wasn't quite ready to take off my franken yet, so I just added my polka dots, for this I didn't really plan anything just grabbed some neon colors and started dotting.

Please forgive the huge black smudge on my thumb, Lol I had no idea it was there till after taking my photos. I was recreating my Black & White Nails on my mother's nails, and well I must of got the black polish on me, oh well not much to do about it now.

Used:
Base coat of Elmer's Glue
3 thick coats of my polish
Used a Dotting tool and
Color Club-
Wham! Pow!
Warhol
Chelsea Girl
and Nina Ultra Pro-
Lime Light

This was quick and easy I used a small dotting tool, and just kind of stippled them on, starting from the cuticle up.
