A very belated Holiday post...

I have fallen way behind on posting... ugh life just gets in the way sometimes huh. Oh well things happen I'm back now and should be back to somewhat regular posting. For today I have my holiday manis to show you I only did like 4 holiday manis and well just never took a picture of one of em or my new years nails either. But here are some I'm just going to show them in order of when I wore them. Any questions about colors just comment and I'll be glad to post em. Like I said I did another mani that I did not even take pistures it was supposed to be my xmas day mani but it chipped right away, my fault I hit my hands on something. So ofcourse I had to come up with something else, and I just loved my simple red and green glitter gradient it was unplanned but turned out to be my favorite this year, er laast year eh my favorite xmas mani anyway. Ok enough talk for now. Enjoy let me know what you think.

Milani Checkered

Omg is this really my first post this December? I have been so busy, working in retail at this time of year I'm lucky to get sleep. So I usually have no time to set aside for my nails or posting. My last few manis I've worn for at least 5 days, which I never do, but I just don't have the time lately. *sniff sniff* I just can't wait for January and having more time yay! So bare with me please. Today I have a mani I did one a few hours before having to work. I think it took me like 30 min or so. I was seriously trying to hurry since I had to shower after finishing. Gotta love Seche Vite for that, if you let each coat dry then put Seche Vite over it all and let that sit for 10 min or so you should be ok to shower if your careful.

Anyway onto the mani...

Used:
Base Coat
Milani- HD 3 coats
stamped in
Ulta- Celebutante
Nina ultra Pro- Blue LaLa
China Glaze- Want my Bawdy
1 coat of Seche Vite before stamping, and 1 coat after.

My pictures do not do this polish justice it's a cross between a scattered and a linear holo. Just in some lights though. Most of the time it just looks like a silver sparkle. Either way it is so pretty.

Urban Outfitters Holo

So unless you've been hiding under a rock the past couple of weeks or so, you've probably already seen the Urban Outfitters holo polishes popping up all over the place. There are three colors a pink, green, and silver all very strong holo and super easy to apply. They covered well in 2 thin coats with no cuticle drag.

Last I seen these were sold out of their website, but stores probably still have a bunch in store, I know mine did when I went.
Here they are in all their glory, all lined up nice and pretty. From what I've seen these are just slightly more holo than the Color Club ones, I don't have the Color Club holo collection since there isn't anywhere for me to buy them locally, So I am happy to have found these. Ok enough of my talk onto the nails...

Used:
Base Coat
Urban Outfitters UO- Green Holo 2 coats
Stamped in Wet N wild- Black Creme
Accent Nail
Ulta- Hide & Go Sequins 3 coats
Stamped in UO- Silver Holo
All Topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite, well just because I wanted to there was no need for 2 coats I just did.

The picture directly below, was supposed to be in direct sunlight but the wind and an umbrella got in the way, but I had to show it even in the shade you can really see the holo.
There are some pictures slightly blurry I did that on purpose, I liked the way the holo looked not in focus.

Thats all for now enjoy...

World Diabetes Day

November is Diabetes awareness month, and today November 14th is world diabetes day. I never even knew there was an awareness month for Diabetes let alone a day. To learn more here is the link to the official page. They encourage people to wear blue today. I saw a post about a week about from Nailderella's facebook page, talking about today and wanting to get some bloggers to wear a blue mani, there is a link to all the bloggers who have participated at the bottom. I of course wanted to join in, for my boyfriend of about 2 1/2 years now. I really never knew much about the disease until I met him, although he did not even know about today. Which I'm going to take means that there are not enough people talking about it or or are aware of how serious it is. Any onto my manicure for today.
